NFL Experience Times Square was an interactive football attraction in New York City, created by the NFL and Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group. It filled four floors and 40,000 square feet at 20 Times Square with hands-on activities, a 4D theater, and exhibits taking fans from the practice field to the Super Bowl. Bolder Games built two of its experiences, “The 32s” and “Huddle Up”.

Contract work for the NFL, delivered through Bolder Games. I was the programmer on The 32s, building it in Unity with an artist and designers and going on site to deploy and configure it.

What I worked on

  • Built The 32s touchscreen interface that was installed on a bank of displays for exploring all 32 NFL teams, with their history, photos, videos, and more
  • Built each screen to run two independent sessions at once, split into top and bottom halves with one of them rotated 180 degrees, so guests standing on either side of the table could use it at the same time
  • Built the team database behind it, with a CMS so staff could update content regularly
  • Went on site to install and configure the app and its communications across every PC in the server room, and to set up the server running the CMS and database
